Patagonia in February was a beautiful location to shoot the next issue of the Loop Magazine. I spent nearly two weeks on Estancia, Las Buitreras, and also managed to spend a day at Stag River, and got reacquainted with Johnston’s and their wild mustangs.
When Loop Tackle Design made the decision to make Loop Magazine instead of product catalogs, I was hired as the Project Manager, Editor in Chief, and primary photographer. This trip I was working as a Photographer, and the primary focus was to make the next issue of Loop Magazine’s main story as well as to take photos of new products in action for future advertising.
It was the first long assignment where I got to use the Nikon D3X, and it was fantastic. For me it’s not the D3 or the D3X, its both, as I have speed and light with the D3, and pixels and a even better dynamic color range with the D3X. Perfect!
