Some gigs are more special than others, and this is one of those gigs. Four thousands rounds through an amazing Benelli shotgun, five thousand RAW images through our Nikon D3’s, over 15 hours of video was shot.  What was the outcome after 2 days of working with renown trick shooter Kenneth Aspestrand? Three new World Records.

I´m in the Florida Keys in the 3´rd week now. Fishing has not been
great, but not terrible either. Cold fronts passing here and there.
Yesterday evening, Keys area had the most lightning hits in USA at the
time.

Small cameras are a very important part of a photographers daily life as professionals in the visual media world. Big cameras are great, for the work we do, but they are often too big...
COOLPIX on the other hand are small, stylish and we carry them everywhere. We use them for location shooting, or to capture friends and family. One or two pictures in books and catalogues Scanout make are taken by a COOLPIX, without you even knowing it ;)

Arctic Safari contracted us to do a some promotional photos and videos, so Terje Holden, Max and I flew to Reykavik.
Super jeeps, snowmobiles and quads! We spent three days exploring Iceland’s volcano’s, glaciers and lava fields.  We love our office!!!

It is easy to get caught up in the excitement of up coming adventure travels.  I just returned from a trip that was planned out in great detail for months.  It all started last fall with the purchase of the SunCrest, which is a 46’ retired fishing boat, that was built in 1959.  The boat is a beauty and makes for the perfect vessel for exploring British Columbia’s coastline.

We are very excited to announce that Scanout will be producing our own electronic magazine.
It will be a very personal magazine, as it is going to reflect our own interests and style. We are
