... we did a couple of things not yet published on this site. The Trailer for the DVD - Solberg Extreme Motor Show - is released and the DVD is now out in shops "everywhere". And we photographed a flashmob dance, downtown Oslo, for the EF School of Education. 
Scanout is doing a project together with the karate- athletes Narve and Christoffer Læret, - a recordbreaking project. On Narve´s (43) list over “things done”, you can amongst other things read about 12 world records, world champion titles and starring the American cinema movie “Record Breakers – What makes the tick”. Narves son, Christoffer (16), recently became the Norwegian Champion in karate, and now father and son will show you the most spectacular and honest photos ever taken of the most extreme part of karate, - Tameshiwari. There will be breaking of coconuts, concrete, wood, stone and baseball – bats, precision cutting with samurai sword, extreme body conditions and much more.
Læret is well known from Norwegian television, as well as TV – shows from the whole world. Together with Scanout- Photographer Yngve Ask and the most extreme Nikon – gear, they will make the most spectacular picture – series and short films ever made of the extreme side of martial arts. It´s honest, it´s extreme, it´s brutal, it´s world records and it´s… Demolition time!

D3s is the brand new camera from Nikon. I’we been fortunate to play with it before the launch for a few days. The D3s is much more than just a minor upgrade from the D3! You can’t justify calibrated ISO from 6400 up to 12800 a minor upgrade! And then you throw in a little bit of D-movie as well. And you have a completely new media than still photo. To me it’s a major upgrade and an exiting upgrade!
It’s great working close with Nikon, and yes, since I’m a Nikon Ambassadour I get my hands on the newst equitment before you do. What´s even better is that Nikon let you be honest when writing or speaking about their products. But first let me say, this review is not one of the technical technical, laboratory reviews, that takes you deep into every chip, and wire of the camera and all the other metaphysics... This review is, me as a user, checking out how the files work within post production and if we can please our clients with the “end produckt” from the camera. 
Some gigs are more special than others, and this is one of those gigs. Four thousands rounds through an amazing Benelli shotgun, five thousand RAW images through our Nikon D3’s, over 15 hours of video was shot. What was the outcome after 2 days of working with renown trick shooter Kenneth Aspestrand? Three new World Records.
